Olympic Ferro x G. Ramiro Z. Preferent

Metall is a proven son of the ¨Black Pearl¨, Olympic Ferro. He is an extremely well shaped stallion with a long neck, beautiful head and balanced movements. His willing character is of the highest order. Metall's offspring inherit his stunning conformation and a high degree of quality and refinement. They are built very uphill and have beautiful heads. Their movements show great finesse with much power in the hind legs, lots of elevation in the front legs, and they have supple backs. Metall achieved the highest marks for the ¨M ¨ year stallion testing. He was champion of the 2001 Indoor Brabant Stallion show with offspring examination. During several stallion competitions in 2001, Metall was first at Groesbeek and Weert, second at Hengelo and reserve champion in the finals at Den Bosch.

Metall's offspring are now proving themselves in the show ring. His approved son, Special D, continues to compete very successfully at the stallion competitions. Special D (see video below) sired one of the highest priced offspring at the 2008 KWPN stallion selection which was auctioned for 125,000 euro and put through to the final testing. Daughter Rabiola was Grand Champion in 2006 at Dressage at Devon, 3rd in the National Mare Keuring in Holland, and Reserve Champion at the mare show in Brussels. Vodarijk, is a Metall daughter who took 3rd place in the 2006 Pavo Cup 4 Year Old Division, and was 2005 Reserve Champion at the KWPN Mare Championships.

Metall's genetic potential is deep, boasting several of the most prolific producers and performers in Dutch warmblood history. Sire Olympic Ferro competed at the 2000 Olympics and assisted his team in achieving a team silver medal in dressage. Although the sire of countless dressage horses, Ferro also showed a lot of jumping talent. As a 3-year old, Ferro was champion of his performance test at Ermelo. Ferro's sire, Ulft, was himself a son of the great Le Mexico. Le Mexico carries Furioso xx blood, which brings value to any pedigree. Ferro's dam, Brenda, is a daughter of the Holsteiner, Farn, sire of the legendary Nimmerdor . Metall's damsire, G. Ramiro Z , a fixture in Dutch breeding, is well known for siring both jumping and dressage horses that compete and win at international levels.
